Window Kit installation:

I have chosen to use a window kit provided by the fine people at Design My PC. These guys put out quality products and are available at most of our Lan-Parties for the latest in all the modding supplies that you need. This is the steps to install the window kit they provided and pictures of the installation.

Below are the contents of the window kit and the recommended tools for installation:

Kit contents:

• Acrylic window, coverd in plastic
• Molding
• Locking strip
• Spacer (washer)

Recommended Tools:

• Pencil
• Masking tape(2")
• Saber saw, Jigsaw, Dremel
• Drill
• Round File or de-burring tool
• Flat File
• Utility knife

Installation:

1. Turn off the computer (Duh). Remove the door from the chassis.

2. Decide on the location of the window. (Allow for one half inch (1/2") or (1.27cm) of clearance between the window edge and the inside edge of the chassis.

3. Place the case door on a table so that the insdie surface of the case door is against the tabletop.

4. To avoid scratching the case door, cover the area determined in step 2 with two layers of the two-inch masking tape.

5. Place the window on the case in the location determined in step 2.
