Shrek

Who would have thought that a Movie with a big green guy and talking donkey as the Heroes would make it to the big screen. Well, it has! Look at every Fairy Tale throughout history. Are you sick yet? Every tale has the same old theme...beautiful Dansel in distress is saved by a hansome Prince Charming. From the long drawn out history of Fairy Tales, Dreamwork's Shrek has proven to have quite a twist.

A cartoon Comedy like no other, Shrek has something for everyone. Anytime you bring the Personalities of Mike Myers (Shrek), Eddie Murphy (Donkey), Cameron Diaz (Princess Fiona), and John Lithgow as Lord Farquaad, some awesome (or catastrophic) event is bound to take place. Shrek is a lonesome Ogre who is eager to stay that way, anyone caught near his home will pay. The Donkey's role in the movie is similar to that of JarJar Binks in StarWars:Episode One, it adds an enormous amount of Comic Relief, and adds a nice angle of adult humor. Princess Fiona is the Beautiful Princess who has some Dark Secrets of her own. And last but not least Lord Farquaad is the villian who lives in a large Castle to make up of other "short comings". Some additional scenes show a half eaten, sarcastic, talking Gingerbread man, Snow Whites Mirror on the wall changing its mind, and the Donkey finding an unusual girlfriend. Wondering what I mean....go see the movie!

In a movie that has all the features of a feel good cartoon, Shrek is a movie the kids and adults alike would enjoy. Shrek will have you rolling on the floor with its Sarcastic humor poking fun at the old Fairy Tales. You'll find yourself singing out loud with the songs like I'm a Believer, Bad Reputation, and All Star. This is a movie for people who enjoy a good laugh. Check out Shrek.......Dreamworks has rewritten Fairy Tales forever!
